Ciara on “Good Morning America” & “Live with Regis & Kelly - Videos

Miss R&B diva Ciara hit the stage this morning on “Good Morning America” as well as “Live with Regis and Kelly” to perform her new single “Never Ever.” The track is off of Ciara’s newest album “Fantasy Ride” and was produced by Polow da Don, co-written by herself and Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams.

So far, the song hasn’t been doing great on the charts. It’s peak position on the Billboard Hot 100 is 72 but at least it made it to #14 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart.

She was looking fierce on “Regis and Kelly” but the singing…not quite so fierce. She did a bit better on her “GMA” performance but then the backup dancers totally were awful and distracted from her. The song itself is not bad, though.

Lil Wayne Named Time Magazine influential People

Lil Wayne and Kanye West were named in Time Magazine’s top 100 most influential people. In an online poll study people named the two rappers high on the Top 100 most influential people list. Lil Wayne came highest among the named rappers at 12!

Interestingly enough, in the same online study, Barack Obama came in 38th with friend Oprah Winfrey barely making the cut at 98th. First place however when to media mogul Christopher Poole, creator of 4chan.org

Well the study wasn’t who’s the most powerful. If you consider the popularity of rap artists it’s no wonder why they are so influential.

Negus Sealy: Rihanna's New (Old) Boyfriend

Since she's been back in her native Barbados, Rihanna has looked happy - no small feat after enduring an "alleged" assault at the hands of beau Chris Brown.

According to reports, this transformation may have come about because she’s back in the arms of her ex-boyfriend, fellow Barbados native Negus Sealy, 24.

“Rihanna and Negus both realized there was still a strong sexual attraction between them and became inseparable. Whenever Rihanna went to the beach or out partying, Negus was always there," a source tells the UK's News of the World.

The friend adds: "They have been very careful not to be seen too closely together, though, as they’re still trying to keep their relationship secret.”

Negus Sealy, who’s also apparently known as the local “Love God,” and Rihanna definitely make a cute couple, as the older photo of them above makes clear.

But one of Rihanna's relatives, who asked not to be named in the story, confirmed: "The family is delighted about her seeing [Negus Sealy] again."

Last month, her father, Ronald Fenty, said fairly emphatically that Brown is old news. Perhaps he was referring to her rekindled romance with Sealy!

Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to assaulting her. Some say his defense may hinge

upon the haunting, leaked photo of a battered Rihanna.

Kid Cudi "Day 'N Night" - Music Video

Have you guys seen the music video for Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N Night” video? This is his first released solo and is off of his debut album “Man on the Moon: The Guardians.” It’s not sure when he’ll be releasing the album, but he says we should expect it in the summer of 2009.

The single is pretty hot on the charts right now and it’s currently at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100. I’ve got the video for you here, below. The song has a nice, smooth sound to it and I like that it’s different than some of the hip hop songs we’ve been hearing lately. The lyrics are pretty well thought out. The video…well…it’s interesting. Check it out for yourself.

Nas and Kelis File Divorce Papers

Nas and Kelis have signed and filed their official divorce papers yesterday after a month of public speculation over the couples marital status. Not that it’s really a matter of public interest but the couple have split up over unknown reasons.

Though it is known that they had years of hard life on the road touring around the country, busy schedules and public demands. Kelis is now seven months pregnant with the couples first baby boy. The two met at an after party hosted by Diddy in 2003. After dating for two years they married in 2005 and seemed like the perfect couple. Just recently Nas announced a contest to name his baby boy. The winner would receive a cash prize.
