September is undoubtedly the best month for new hip-hop releases thus far. The arrival of buzzworthy albums like Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2 and Blueprint III should make your trip to the record store much more exciting this month. Here are September's Top 10 New Rap CDs.

10. Skyzoo - 'The Salvation'

Skyzoo - Salvation
Theme is the name of the game on Skyzoo's The Salvation LP. The Brooklyn MC says he always wanted to drop an album since he was 9 and uses Salvation as a canvass to paint a portrait of his life. Skyzoo's latest is light on guest features, but the production cast features heavy-hitters like Just Blaze, 9th Wonder, Black Milk, Needlz, Illmind, and Nottz.

If this early review of Man On The Moon is anything to go by, Cudi's debut sounds like one hell of an adventurous album. Collaborators include RATATAT, MGMT, and Chip the Ripper. See what I mean?

2. Raekwon - 'Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2'

Raekwon - Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2
Through all the rumors and pushbacks, the one aspect of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II that I was most concerned about was the production. With RZA contributing a measly 2 tracks to the album, Rae turned to the elite sound architects such as Marley Marl, Pete Rock, and J Dilla for additional beats. Expect some viscous beats and witty, intelligent narratives.
