8. Sean Price - 'Kimbo Price'
Kimbo Price, Sean P's new street album, serves as a precursor to his next album Mic Tyson. No other rapper is deserving of an album named after Iron Mike, as Sean P's in-your-face flow hearkens to Tyson's ferocious boxing style. Kimbo Price boasts features from Rock, Ruste Juxx, Torae, Skyzoo, Poison Pen and Royce da’ 5'9".

7. Camp Lo - 'Another Heist'
Camp Lo rolls on with Another Heist. The vivid imagery of Black Caesar, Super Fly, Black Belt Jones, Willie Dynamite, and Dolemite spring to the front of the mind as Sonny Cheeba and Geechi Suede take you through a brand new full length adventure. The Bronx duo tapped long time collaborator/producer Ski (aka Ski Beatz) for Another Heist. You may remember Ski from Jay-Z's classic debut, Reasonable Doubt ("Dead Presidents", "22 Two's", "Politics as Usual," and "Feelin It").

6. Tech N9ne - K.O.D.
Tech N9ne will probably release another album by the time you finish reading this. K.O.D. is his 2nd album this year, following the release of Sickology 101 in April. Tech ups the ante on his new album, tapping into his brutally honest lyrics to create a unique listening experience. Guests include: Bumpy Knucles and Three 6 Mafia.

5. Cormega - 'Born and Raised'
One of QB's finest and ex Firm rapper Cormega returns with his 5th solo disc, Born & Raised. The album features production from DJ Premier, Large Professor, Easy Mo Bee, Havoc, Buckwild, LES, Nottz, Fuzzy Womack, Ayatollah, Khrysis, as well as guest verses from Big Daddy Kane, Parish Smith, Grand Puba, KRS-One, Tragedy, Havoc, Lil Fame, Marley Marl, and Red Alert.

4. Stat Quo - 'The Great Depression'
Stat Quo had a brief stint with Shady Records before severing ties with the label. The Great Depression finds him spilling his guts on the circumstances surrounding his departure from Em's camp.

3. Triple C's - 'Custom Cars & Cycles'
It's the unwritten rule in rap: Get your foot in the door and bring your cronies in for the ride. Rick Ross is doing just that with Triple C's (CCC stands for Carol City Cartel), a rap group he started after leaving Suave House Records. Members Gunplay (Richard Morales) from Miami, Torch (Kevin Belnavis) from the Bronx, and Young Breed are hoping to use the group album as their launching pad onto bigger events.

2. Del The Funky Homosapien & Tame One - 'Parallel Uni-Verses'
Hieroglyphics frontman Del the Funkee Homosapien joins bi-coastal forces with original Artifacts and Weathermen member Tame One to bring us Parallel Uni-Verses. The album is both musically impressive and lyrically superb. Surprisingly, Del & Tame One make a good duo.They get nostalgic on "Flashback" which sports references to Adidas.

1. Royce Da 5'9" - 'Street Hop'
Royce is arguably the best member of Slaughterhouse. So, naturally, many rap fans have been holding their collective breath to see how he'll fare on his first post-Slaughterhouse solo album. Thankfully, Street Hop doesn't disappoint. In fact, this is a typical Royce album, as some of the themes are familiar from his first three solo LPs.
